After years of dark wood in our home, I have been ready to lighten it up a bit. I was able to get one new piece purchased last year, when I bought my new entry table from West Elm. It was an instant love match.
(You can really see how well the floors turned out in this photo)
The next piece I wanted to update was out TV console. We had our precious piece for 8 years… I was ready for a change. I wasn’t sure what I wanted at first until I came across that dreamy new dresser from West Elm (again)! It was delivered a week or so ago and I am sure enjoying it. I like that isn’t solid white. The white wash wood on the front makes it such a fun piece.
Here is a close up of the detail on the dresser, and just incase you missed the DIY tv shelf you can check it out here.
Every time I walk in the door, my living room makes me smile. A true oasis. =) Isn’t that how your home should make you feel?
Thanks for taking a little tour with me.
xx

Your home is so beautiful! You’ve done so good
OH GIRL, it looks amazing!!!! Congrats, i am so glad it makes you feel that way, I have to work on mine though.. I like it but its missing a few elements I’d like to ad and also, its always a bit messy, we get home so late and tired so its hard for me to keep things looking perfect.
it looks gorgeous! love love!
I love everything about it….it’s picture perfect!!
Looks awesome. And incredibly tidy.
I absolutely adore that piece! No joke, I used to visit the WE store here just to stare at it (& Quinn would be mesmerized by it too from her stroller). It fits in perfectly w/ your home. You know what I esp. heart about this space? It’s got that curated-over-time look…..not too matchy matchy yet the pieces work so harmoniously together.
