A New Accent Wall?

A New Accent Wall?

by Jesse on March 16, 2011

We have seen all the the stenciling and the stripes as a way to make an accent wall, but how about some reclaimed wood? I really am loving this look! Who knew?! I generally am drawn to the more sparkly spaces, but this bit of rustic goodness has me totally swooning! =)

What do you think of it?

Such a neat idea. I think they did it over at Bower Power for their son’s nursery and it turned out so cute!

I like looking at it, for sure, but it isn’t for my home.

I think it looks homey. One of the houses I grew up in a had a wall that was exposed barn wood that they had added to it in the living room. My mom white washed it, and it was really fun!

Love it for, perhaps, my future nature-inspired guest room!

I’m really loving the rustic meets glamour look lately! You could absolutely pull this off in your house!

In the right style of home I think this is a wonderful way to add texture and interest to a room.

I stumbled across your blog when I was looking up stencil walls and I’m so glad I did! You have a new fan! I LOVE the top pic. I’d love to do it in a guest room. Unfortunately old barn boards are really hard to find in South Africa.
