Decorating With Maps

Thank you guys so much for your sweet comments on my last post! It feels good to have such wonderful support from all of you! I am glad to know the things I enjoy and share here have found friends that enjoy it too. I do have a wreath for spring, finally. So I will share it with you soon.  I want to apologize I haven’t been able to get to all of your blogs as I like to, lately. I’ve been struggling to fit everything into my schedule. Hopefully I will be caught up soon. =)

I have a few pretties for you today.

Do you love decorating with maps? My hope is when I get to decorate the boys rooms I can incorporate them. I think the stripes in the photo below is the the icing on the cake!

These are pretty cute too.

Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday! Thanks for coming to see me today!

LOVE this look with maps. I am not brave enough to do this but I like to think I would 🙂

I actually posted a map on my blog today. It’s kinda interactive, so would be great for kids. Take a look, I’d love to know what you think. x

I’ve got a spot reserved for a map, just waiting to find the perfect one at the affordable price!
I agree, the stripes make that room. I like the “chest” at the footboard too. The maps as wallpaper would mean you could disguise the cords from those lamps & not worry about having to get them wired, if you didn’t want to.

The little heart shaped mats are so cute!

I love this. I can imagine a guest bathroom with maps. Hoe cool would that be?

I definitely want to incorporate some sort of globe or wall maps in our office/library. We are thinking of going with an Old World theme and want to include anything that would relate to history or travel. It would be nice to go into that room and look at the map, dreaming of the exotic places I would love to visit!

I love the idea of maps as wallpaper.

I recently did a post about maps in design. Please check it out.

I also did one about framing maps.

West Elm has striped duvets almost like those except grey. Very sharp.

And you already know I love maps.
