I had been wanting a way to display the kids art. They love to write and draw. So when I came across some inspiration from pottery barn, I wanted to make my own version.
(Some of you will have already seen then this post via my old blog. I am reposting to get this copied onto this blog)
What you will need for this project:
small round hooks
wire, twine, or ribbon (your choice)
I started out with these wood blocks that I painted white,
I found this great paper and cut it down to 3×3 squares. Then mod podged it to to the blocks.
Next step was to attach these small hooks to the center of the blocks…
the hanging brackets to the back and then attached the wire to the hooks.
Here is the finished product. Since posting this the first time I have replaced the wire with twine.
The kids love this! They can take down and put up their own pictures.
I was laughing looking at this photo Rhett drew, because he added our ages. (I’ve had a few birthdays since this picture was made)
We recently tried the new wordpress update for this blog and it didn’t work out so well. So I am trying to get everything back in order. I lost a few comments and was not able to retrieve them. So I apologize if you don’t see your comment. Also after last weekend I posted a few other projects. If you would like to check them out they are a few posts below this one.
Hope you are all having a wonderful day!
