Dreaming

by Jesse on September 15, 2011

I am so thankful for my husband!

He has always been a big dreamer.

Which makes me a big dreamer as well.

I was just thinking what life would be like if I didn’t dream.

It would be sad.

I think I would feel like there was nothing to work for.

I was having a conversation with a client the other day and she said that she heard a sermon once, where the pastor was talking about how children often knew what they wanted to be when they grew up between the ages of 6-12 years old. Somehow after those years they lost their way or were discouraged.

That conversation made me think back about all of the things I loved as a little girl.

Fashion.

Art.

Design.

I always wanted to be able to draw.

It is never too late to become who you are meant to be!

What were your dreams?

What are your dreams?

You might have to do a little dusting to find them, but I would encourage you to try.

Life is so much more fun when you can dream!

Hugs friends!

Have a great weekend!

Dreaming can be scary. And intimidating. And risky. But it doesn’t have to be, bc. only when you dream big, you go places :-)
And I love that we have the capability to make that happen :-)

Beautiful post, Jesse! Just because we’re over the age of 12 doesn’t mean you can no longer dream. I pray you realize all your dreams!

You’ve always been such an encouragement to me and I highly value your professional opinion, so I was wondering if you’d be willing to take a moment to check out my first ever CasaBella Studios design board and give me any constructive criticism that comes to mind: http://casabellastudiosblog.blogspot.com/2011/09/design-board-girly-glam-office.html?m=1.

Thanks so much!

That is so true, Jesse, wow! Art was always a passion and love of mine growing up and I am so thankful that I’ve been able to express that through graphic design and photography and blogging. I find all three of those things to be a realized dream of self expression and my true creative outlet. I also have a dream of growing my etsy business someday when the kiddos are older. I love combining business with art. What a lovely post!!!
