Geocaching

by Jesse on May 28, 2013

Last weekend I had to work and do a large wedding. On a weekend when my hubby needed to be out of town. That meant taking the kids with me for 3 hours of work. I can’t tell you how great they were! I was so impressed. So their reward was to get to go geocaching for the first time. If you don’t know what that is, it’s kind of like treasure hunting using GPS. It is in every city and nearly every town. You just download the free app to your smart phone and it uses your current location to point you in the direction of the closes cache. Pretty fun!

This particular one happened to be hiding in the hollow of a tree.

How cool! I’ve actually looked this up to try it because I thought the kiddos would think it was cool … or maybe I secretly want to figure it out? 🙂 Looks like it was a good opportunity to get some in actions shots of the kiddos!

My kids loved it and I bet yours would too! Something different also! We get in a activity rut often!
