Tis the season for fall decorating and to be honest I haven’t done a crafty thing in quite a while. Last year at the end of the season I picked up some unfinished ceramic pumpkins. I had no ideas of what I wanted to do with them so I just stuck them in the cabinet and said until next year. Then my friend Nikki showcased her pretty painted pumpkin. That sparked my creative juices!
Gold and white are my favorite combination right now and with a little inspiration from Kate Spade some glam little pumpkins were born. =) I sprayed the pumpkins with Valspar Lacquer white spray paint. Then a gold paint pen became my best friend.
I started at the bottom of each pumpkin and used the pattern of two dots then three dots then two dots again, moving in rows up towards the middle of each. That seemed to give it a nice even, but not too perfect of a pattern. I sure like how they turned out.
A little Kate Spade without the price.
Happy Fall y’all!

We are so excited that we are actually having out-of-state company for the entire week AND our sweet neighbors have also accepted our invitation for Turkey dinner! Your pumpkin idea is getting my centerpiece inspired!!!
Oh I can’t wait to see! You always come up with something great! Yay for holiday company too!

These are so cute, what a great idea! I have a pretty set of metallic markers that I rarely use, this would be a great way to use them and I love polka dots. Thanks for the idea!
