I thought I might share how my entry way came together. I love the layered look right now.

I get lots of inspiration by looking at mantles. Since I don’t have a mantle or a “real” entry way, I fake it.

Here is what I started with.

I changed the mirror from a round to a square.

Then added my prints. Leaning them against one another.

At one point I thought of moving the other print, but decided against it. In this photo, I added in my horse statuette.

I then added the stack of magazines with my West Elm dish atop, working my way to the right side. I layered in the other family photos I wanted to use. I like that they are different heights. The very last thing I added was the small pink vase. I had a little spot that was calling for something. The pink vase was perfect, because I brought the pink from the bicycle print across to the other side of the table.

That is how I put together my layered vignette.

Hope you are having a wonderful week so far.

{I will be around to your blog today! I have been a bit behind on my visiting and miss all of you!}

I’ve been checking your blog, but life has been so crazy that I haven’t commented. However, I LOVE the layered look. Very pretty!

This looks very pretty and put together. I’ve been so bad at commenting lately – I visit quick and dash. Life is busy! Hope you are well.

It is so visually pleasing. And I just love the combination of colors you used as well. It all just makes me want to come over and sit down in your living room. ๐Ÿ™‚ Great job!
