I had seen some recent inspiration on Pinterest for a snowman wreath done in grapevine wreaths. I loved the idea, but thought that a ruffled look would be more my speed. I am tickled with how it turned out. The kids love it too!
Here is what I did.
I took several sizes of wreath form. (one was left over from another project)
Covered them with a white canvas fabric (also left over)
Hot gluing it to secure the fabric to the form.
After all 3 wreaths were covered in the white fabric I took a strip of that same fabric and attached the wreath forms together.
Here is what it looked like all together.
Next, I cut white felt into strips about an inch wide.
Using the hot glue I just bunched and glued down the fabric. Occasionally I would twist the felt to give it that bunchy, ruffled look.
Until all 3 wreath forms were covered.
As a final touch I added some blue felt for a scarf.
Not to mention it will last through out the winter season, because it isn’t just a Christmasy thing. =)
While preparing my photos for this post, I had some help. LOL!
Have a wonderful day!
