West Elm Love

by Jesse on July 13, 2011

I mentioned that I got to go to West Elm over last weekend. Talk about a beautiful store. Made me sad that they don’t have one here in Tulsa! Everything was beautiful… I seriously could have taken one of everything.

Here are some of my favorites,

First this lamp had me at Hello! I love the band of silver along the bottom giving it some sparkle!

This ottoman, swoon! I have always been attracted to graphic prints and this is no exception.

Although at it’s $599 price tag I think I can do a DIY version.

I never did get into the animal head sculptures that everyone was/is doing. Looks great in their homes, but not for me. All of the sudden I am finding myself having a horse obsession. Don’t know what that is about, but I am really wanting a bust of a horse. So when I was in West Elm I almost came home with these.

I will probably be kicking myself that I didn’t get them. But I am counting on the fact that the flea market will have something I can spray paint for 50 cents rather than $40 that the book ends cost.

Do you have anything you are eyeing for your home right now?

xx

I had seen a beautiful dark grey quilt at Target, but refrained from buying as we were not in a rush to do the Master bedroom. I still have the glam blue/grey scheme in mind, so I may have to hope its still available!

We don’t have a West Elm near me and luckily for my wallet, my kiddos really don’t like going into home stores! Beautiful!

I LOVE that ottoman! If you do a DIY version, please post the tutorial!

I like the horse heads but they make me think of the Iliad (wooden horse = war of Troy = Iliad) – I think attending a humanities-focused high school equals a bit of brainwashing ๐Ÿ˜‰
